Places to See in the Philippines
The Philippines is a beautiful country, with wonderful people, that’s been destroyed by the politicians.
From being one of the richest countries in Asia 25 years ago, it’s now one of the poorest. Corruption is rife and deeply embedded into the infrastructure from the local level right to the top of government.
Despite all that, I’ve been lucky enough to travel quite extensively in the Philippines, particularly on the Northern Island of Luzon, but also down to Cebu and Boracay. And there are many, many more places I’m looking forward to seeing – it’s a stunningly beautiful country and incredibly varied!
